Credit card options for people with limited credit history

Having a limited credit history today limits the options of credit cards available in the market. While people with limited or no credit history has almost no options during the period of recession a couple of years ago, now credit card lenders are willing to take calculated risks and offer credit cards to people with limited credit too. The Pink Elite Prepaid Visa Card is one of the many credit cards worth applying. This is a no obligation card that does not have any application fee or credit check. A part of the money used for purchases on this card is donated towards breast cancer awareness programs. Transaction alerts and balance details are sent via SMS and the card comes under Visa Fraud liability and is insured by the FDIC.

The Walmart Money Card is also another Prepaid Visa Card that people with limited credit history can apply for. There is no minimum balance on this card and it does not carry any online application charges as well. There is a monthly fee of up to $3 on this card. Consumers with a qualifying direct deposit can benefit from the $10 bonus offered by the lender. This card can be used to pay bills, get cash and also for online shopping.
