I am foreign student. Am I eligible to get a credit card? Most of the US banks offer this services to permenet resident or a citizens of United states..... Is there any requirements do I need to fullfill in order to become eligible?

Kindly respond to this in detail...

Sincerely,
NAMAN.

Answer:
You are not eligible for a credit card if you have no social security number. If you need a loan, you can take it from your university or some institution giving loans to non-residents of the US. In this case you may have to get a co-borrower - citizen or resident of the US.

Hi, how are you. Can you give me any advise on how to go about responding to Washington Mutual Bank. I opened an account with a fixed rate of 13.99% and I have never once been late on a payment nor have I went over my credit limit or anything like that. This past month, they raised my interest rate to 21.9% and they say that it is my creditworthiness. What? Like I said, I have never been late or over limit or anything? That is completely unaccepable and I can\'t get anyone to listen when I call customer service. I would like to find a new company with a simialr rate and I will give them my business. This is ridiculous, what a sham!!

Answer:
If raising of the interest rate was not implied by terms&conditions of your credit card (it could be this way: you had 13.99 for intro period and 21.9 as ongoing APR), you have a legal right to apply to the court on this case. The same concerning the bank denying to answer your questions about its products. If you want to get a credit card of another bank and want some advice from us, please, tell us your credit score and requirements so that we could help you.

i have never owned any credit cards but my credit is bad due to mail orders, a loan for $120.00 and numerous other things, how can i get a credit check for that let alone a credit card? i do not have a bank account either.

Answer:
To establish your credit history, try getting a secured credit card. Surely it will require opening an account. A secured credit card is attached to your bank account. it will allow a credit card company to keep back payment if you fail to repay. To get a secured credit card, you must deposit an amount of money identical to the credit limit of the card. A credit card secured by a savings account is not a risk factor for creditors. Secured credit cards are thus much easier to get. Apply online for a secured credit card or try to find a local store credit card that reports to credit bureaus. It's important to choose a credit card you qualify for. Remember - too many inquiries can spoil the credit report.

how can i put in the activation from a credit application i received in the mail

Answer:
If you applied for a credit card and got an approval by mail, there should be information such as the phone number of the bank and its website address. Unfortunately, we do not provide this information as we only make credit card offers. If you have got this data, you can activate your credit card by phone calling directly to the bank. Otherwise, you can submit the activation number at the official website of the bank. There you will be asked to confirm some personal information and insert your activation number. Unfortunately, our site doesn't include such service as credit card activation since when you fill out the application, it gets into the bank and all other services are provided by their assistants.

I have a question for you I had a credit card for Rewards 660 Visa. I belive that they had messed up my account
because they said that I was not make my payment on time but I was and then they got very rude with me over the phone. Plus in the past some other people had messed up my credit.. So everthing that is on my credit report was from other people. If you could help me out with anything I would be very happy. So please give me a Second Change. Thank you for your time.

Answer:
If you do think that there are some inaccuracies in your credit report or it belongs to some other person, you can always dispute the errors. To do that, copy your credit report and highlight every point you think is incorrect. You should write to the reporting bureau (the address is on the report). Explain the dispute and demand for investigation to solve the problems. Use certified mail, request return receipt to prove the material were dispatched.
Send the like letter to the creditor you disagree with.
The credit bureau will begin an investigation and contact your creditors to verify the data. If the creditor doesn't prove that the item is correct, it is removed. After that get a free copy of your report with changes.
Then you can ask that the right variant of your credit report be sent to those who received the report for the last 6 months. You can initiate an investigation online. And apply for a credit card at our site!

how can i pay my bill on line

Answer:
First it’s necessary to find out whether your credit card has such an option as online bill payment. For this you can study terms and conditions of your credit cards, where such kind of information is usually pointed out. If this function is available, you can go to the official site of your bank, register there and fill out a given form, which makes the money be sent to your account. You can choose another variant, which is also possible: check up your balance at the official site of your bank. Unfortunately, you are not able to do this at our site, as we have no access to your credit card accounts or your personal information.

If i pay off all the items on my credit report will that raise my score? I am trying to buy a house.

Answer:
If you manage to improve your credit report, it will certainly raise your credit score. But you are to keep in mind that this won't improve your credit score immediately, but if you can begin to manage your credit and pay on time, your score will get better over time. You will be able to buy a house, only in case you improve your credit history. You see your credit score plays an important part in the home buying process and in determining the interest rate that a lender offers. But in order to build a good credit, the most important thing for you is to apply for credit cards in accordance with your credit card history. One more way out for you is a credit card with a co-signer with an excellent or good credit card history. So, your relative or friend applies for the best credit card offers and signs you up as a co-borrower and you pay off the credit on more beneficial terms, and accumulate credit points, but he/she is responsible for this credit as well. All in all we recommend you to apply to companies specialising in home loans.

i'm looking for a costurmer service # to aspen mastercard can you help me please?

Answer:
You see, our work is to collect the latest and sufficient information about the best credit card offers, issued by the leading banks and credit companies. Here you can choose a credit card, fitting your needs and file the appropriate credit card application. Unfortunately, we are not provided by any contacts of the banks, presented at our site. Usually all the contact information is written on the back side of the card and in the statements you receive before or together with the credit card by mail. You can’t find anything, look for your credit card at our site, click the link 'Apply' and you will be redirected to one of the pages of the official site of the bank, where you will be able to find a customer service.

i have no credit since i never had a credit card. but i tried to apply at 2 places and got denied both times. wouldn\'t that make it harder for me to start because i have no credit and now wouldn\'t it be below credit?

Answer:
If you`ve never applied for any loans or mortgages and had any credit cards, you seem to have no credit history. The most evident reason for two refusals, you`ve got from credit card issuers, is that your credit score wasn?t sufficient for the credit cards chosen. The thing you should do is to set up your credit history and apply for one of bad/no credit cards. There are secured credit card offers and unsecured ones at your total disposal. Secured credit cards can be nice choice for credit building and they provide credit line, secured by by amount of security deposit. In case you want to accept unsecured credit card offer, you may select one of First PREMIER credit cards with instant approval.

how long does a credit card is approved cause im trying 18 soon

Answer:
If you`re trying to establish your credit and want to get a credit card with instant approval you can sort out one of guaranteed approval cards which are approved regardless of your credit history. Consider secured credit card applications for Orchard bank card or New Millennium bank credit card, which credit line is determined by amount of security deposit. Secured credit cards can be good decision for credit building. If you`d prefer unsecured credit card offer, you may select one of First PREMIER credit cards with instant approval. Just ponder over, which card is better for you to build strong credit and apply online for card with us!
